Abstract

Tourism has become one of the world’s largest and fastest growing industries. The most-high demand for holiday is to stay any island in the country or other country. This is because people are more likely to watch the scenery that can release their stress, feel more relax and calm. But, from the demand, what will happen to the Small Island that already known as attracted Island. For example, Perhentian Island at Terengganu, Rawa Island at Johor, Pangkor Island at Perak and others. This study identified the infrastructure needs, such as roads, waste management system, and drainage system. Their resources are used to developing economic activities and their location should give a contribution to make an interaction with other areas. Specifically, planning for coastal and small islands is developed for increasing the their physical, economic, social, and institution conditions using their natural resources which is based on coastal and ocean resources. From the growth of environment, what will they do, to maintain the nature of island such as marine life, coastal area and others. There also have a community that stay on the island. From that, we want to apply photovoice on interpretation board that will help to give a message and make them more understand especially to tourist, what will happen if we not take seriously for the maintain the nature of Island at the same show a respect to the community who have to face the problem every day. Photovoice give an opportunity an open a dialogue with communities about changes in the marine environment and in coastal communities
