Abstract

The fight against COVID-19 is still not over. This struggle is not focused on frontline workers alone, but this is a struggle for all. Staying at home and following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is one of the ways to prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus. The artwork entitled ‘Just Stay at Home’ visually manifests the idea of providing awareness of social responsibility in order to maintain the well-being of the society. This artwork was produced using the Adobe Illustrator software. The designer highlights graphic styles by placing basic forms and shape elements such as circles, triangles, and rectangles. Dotted pattern and grain effects are included. Meanwhile, typography is used to convey a clearer message. This artwork is suitable for use as a poster.
The child character is given a superhero character and is chosen to illustrate positive thinking that is born in a child naturally. They remain optimistic and always get creative ideas in any situation.Images of the Covid-19 virus are depicted to be scattered outside the window symbolizing the danger awaiting. Therefore, staying indoors is the best course of action to keep the whole family safe. The combination of basic colors is widely used to convey a feeling of excitement and energy that connects with the power of imagination and enlightenment. Various activities can be done at home to get good mental and physical health.
