A study on parking problem at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital, Ipoh / Mohd Faizal Hassan

Parking facilities are keys in providing a planning and control traffic and provide a basis in standard transport facilities in the area. Car parking management, as an important part of traffic management in modern cities, has been mature and effective in the developed countries and regions. In the study of car parking space, there are important to know the real situation and problem at the case study. Without the efficient parking management system in hospital, there are have many problem can be happen. Therefore very important to establish who is responsible for over managing the problem of parking system. The questionnaire methods are used for collecting the data. Besides carry out the sources of parking problem happen in the Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh. In finding, overall nine (9) of the variables tested and valuated by the respondent it resulted that there are five (5) variables is critical factor that affected the parking space problem in the hospital. In making a clear view in the summarize of discussion and finding, all the variable which are considered as critical or not through the determination of the average mean index, a preparation of conceptual framework for summary of this chapter is presented in chapter 4. In the end of the study, the problem of parking can be reduced and can help to support services offered by facilities management.
