Abstract

Parking is considered an inseparable part of the road transport system, and the increasing number of vehicles has caused problems with parking in some areas around Johor. Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA) in Johor Bahru is also linked to this problem, as a result of the number of patients and also the number of staff in this hospital jumped almost every year, the number of parking spaces is still insufficient is one of the reasons that cause difficulties for the public to park their vehicles in the area. As a result, almost every day they would park their vehicles on the shoulder of the road outside the hospital grounds. This study was conducted to address the problems that arise in this area that has not been resolved for a long time, namely in the parking lot at Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA), Johor Bahru. In addition, this study will also issue some recommendations as well as findings from the analysis conducted through a survey questionnaire.
