Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the differences between low and
high achieving University students in their psychological problems such as
depression, anxiety, and stress. A total of 180 undergraduate students of the
Mara Technology University (UiTM) were involved in this study. The Depression
Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) was used to measure the level of depression,
anxiety, and stress among students. Two-Independent Sample T-test was used
to differentiate the level of psychological problems between low and high
achieving students. This study assumed that there was a significant difference
between low and high achieving students in their psychological problems.
However, the findings of this study revealed that there were no significant
differences between low and high achieving students in their psychological
problems.
