Abstract

The researchers have seen the problem of high rates of maltreatment and abuse cases
towards children in Malaysia. The study examines the perception on the factors
contributing to child protective environment in Kota Kinabalu City, Sabah. A set of 180
questionnaires have been distributed to public at the area of study. The study reveals
the perception of public on the factors contributing to child protective environment in
Kota Kinabalu City, Sabah.
