Demand for occupational therapy is expected to rise significantly over the coming decade in response to the health needs of the aging baby-boom generation and a growing elderly population. One of the Occupational Therapist (OTs) services is the fabrication of splinting (a low-temperature plastic material, custom-made and is fitted to each individual which is fasten by the straps). After initial observation towards the conventional ways of OTs cutting the straps using the scissor, the team had chosen a product that we believe can make the process much easier.
