SPLENDID & Co. is a partnership company aimed to be the best Go-kart in Kuching.There are four members of the partnership which are the General Manager cum Administrative Manager, Operation Manager, Marketing Manager and Finance Manager. The major objective of our company is to attract people of all ages race Go-kart and to educate them that street race is illegal and may cause death.
In any business, especially in this kind of business 'every shareholder should be responsible and have the spirit and encouragement of team work in performing their task and activities to ensure business runs smoothly, properly and systematically. It is important because it leads the company in gaining more profit and also to keep the person to be more productive, creative and innovative. After doing the observation and research on the business opportunity in Kuching, our group decided to specify our business as racing Go-kart. Our group has come up with the business plan of partnership whereby our business’s name will be known as Glee Go-Kart.Our Company will be located at LOT 88, Jalan Semangat, Bintawa Industrial Estate, 93450 Kuching, Sarawak. Our location is owned by Nur Shafiqah bt Rangkut as our General Manager. Therefore this business operation does not require any rental. This location is very strategic because near to town, supplier, housing area, shopping mall, factories and also competitors. We expected to win 40% customer from competitor which is Velocity Go-Kart. We believe within 3 years of operation we could attract more customers and yet be the first main Go-Kart centre in Kuching.
The management team will be lead by General Manager and the other manager will help to assist. The General Manager is responsible in controlling, leading, organizing as well as plan the entire business. The Administrative Manager is responsible for all jobs relating to office administration. The Marketing Manager is responsible in preparing marketing plan, which includes identifying the target market, determining the market size, identifying the competitors, determining the market share, developing sales forecast and marketing strategies. The operation of our business is controlled and monitored by the Operation Manager. Furthermore, all the workers in our company will be under the supervision of the Operation Manager.
