The effectiveness of poverty reduction programmes in Ranau district : E-Kasih / Siti Norlida Wasidi

This paper focus on the study of the effectiveness of poverty reduction programmes in
Ranau district for Ranau resident. Main purpose of this research is to find out the
effectiveness of poverty reduction programmes in Ranau district whether it is effective
enough in reducing poverty in Ranau. Data that this study use will be primary data and
secondary data. Primary data is based on the information obtain from questionnaire and
interview with 50 sample/respondent. The result will be interpret using SPSS software
by determining the frequencies of percentage for each question. The result shows that
there is positive result for poverty reduction programmes in Ranau district. However it
need further improvement.
