Due to the fact that the technology and communications have evolved over time from a good to better, most children nowadays are much more advanced compared to children in 10 years back. More gadgets have been invented and most of the technologies are much more friendly-user and also easy to be used. That is why, we can always see, most children of the age of 10, can use internet, sometimes, better than us adults. It is always agreed that the internet has affected not only adults and adolescents but also children. The effects comprise of negatives and also positives. It is in fact true that the existence of a few Acts in Malaysia, help to protect the children, but, we also realised on the sufficiency and adequacy of such protections that can actually protect this children. Acts like Penal Code, Federal Constitution, and Communications and Multimedia Act are among the acts that insert in some protection with regards to children. However, our scope focuses more to protection of children with regards to electronic media. This is again, due to the fact that electronic media has become among the fastest advancement in the world. Therefore, our group has come out with a project paper that concerns on protection on children with regards to electronic media. We analyse on the issues pertaining to the adequacy of the acts stated above as to how far those have protected the children in our country. Besides that, we also compare to other four advanced countries like India, Singapore, United States of America and United Kingdom. We also conduct interviews to experts in order to gain more information and also to get their opinions on selected sub-topics. Last but not least, we ended this project paper by listing a few recommendations and also conclusion on our topic which is protection on children with regards to electronic media.
