This chapter examines the transformative and expanded role of educators as mentors, facilitators, and guides in advancing entrepreneurship and sustaining Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Moving beyond traditional teacher-centered instruction and formal classroom lecturing, contemporary entrepreneurship education increasingly relies on learner-centered, experiential methodologies—including project-based learning, simulations, real-world case studies, and collaborative problem-solving. As SMEs constitute the backbone of emerging economies yet frequently grapple with constraints in managerial capabilities, strategic planning, and knowledge access, educators bridge the critical gap between academic theory and practical business execution. Through community engagement, workshops, and sustained mentorship networks grounded in empathy and reflective practice, educators cultivate adaptive mindsets, critical thinking, and resilient decision-making among entrepreneurs, ultimately driving enterprise growth and broader socio-economic development.
