Kenali Malaysia: designing effective learning materials for dyslexia students.
[Student Project]
Abstract
This Final Year Project focuses on designing effective learning materials for students with dyslexia, particularly within Malaysian educational environments where inclusive learning resources are still limited. The project aims to improve reading comprehension, engagement, and information retention through the application of visual communication design strategies that address the cognitive and visual challenges faced by dyslexic learners. Conventional learning materials often contribute to visual stress, letter confusion, and reduced concentration, making the learning process more difficult and discouraging for students with dyslexia.
