Advancing Forensic Entomology from Malaysia to London. Designed as an advanced research and capacity-building initiative, the project highlights the cross-border application of insect evidence in medicolegal death investigations and time-since-death estimations. Evaluation of the initiative reveals three primary strategic outcomes: (1) Enhancement of Scientific and Methodological Rigor, bridging tropical forensic entomological frameworks with international research standards established in London; (2) Promotion of Transnational Knowledge Transfer, strengthening academic exchanges and joint research capabilities between Malaysian forensic scientists and UK institutions; and (3) Advancement of Applied Medicolegal Sciences, expanding the utilization of entomological evidence in criminal investigations and global forensic practice. Overall, this project serves as an effective model for elevating regional forensic research through international academic partnerships.
