Program hapus denggi komuniti: empowering communities to take action against dengue initiative. Designed as an active public health intervention, the program aims to mitigate the transmission of dengue fever by engaging local residents in proactive vector control, environmental hygiene management, and disease awareness campaigns. Evaluation of the initiative reveals three primary strategic outcomes: (1) Enhancement of Public Health Literacy and Dengue Awareness, educating community members on vector life cycles, early symptom recognition, and preventative measures; (2) Mobilization of Community-Led Vector Control, fostering collective action for source reduction through the identification and elimination of Aedes mosquito breeding sites; and (3) Strengthening of Sustainable Health Partnerships, bridging academic, public health, and local community efforts to build resilient health promotion networks. Overall, this program serves as an effective, community-empowered model for preventive epidemiology and sustainable vector-borne disease management.
