Falsafah MIM

Our Vice Chancellor, Y. Bhg. Dato ’ Seri Prof. Dr. Ibrahim bin Abu Shah pened Falsafah MIM — Membina Minda Melayu, published by Pusat Penerbitan Universiti (UPENA) in 2007. According to some lecturers, Falsafah MIM literally speaks directly to us - in writing; in prose, poetry and in pictures. The VC reminds us of the history of UiTM and its role in national socio-economic development, leading us to our future. The future is seen as a collective national vision in a global scenario. It requires participation from Malaysians of all ethnicities both inside and outside UiTM. With the VC’s mention of the people he encountered, we remember our meaningful neighbourhood experiences. We can draw inspirations from these experiences to struggle for our collective future.
