The G-factor

Abstract

Block G is now fully operational and most of the lecturers assigned to the block have settled in. IK went around the block one morning to er, check it out, and managed to talk to Ahmad Zainuddin, Sharon Pearl, Robin, Rozaimie, Mahdalela, Markson, Gordon and Jati. As expected, most of our colleagues are all smiles, but there are some puckered brows... Every lecturer is provided with a computer and all the rooms are furnished with tables and chairs but no shelves or cupboards. The main complaint from practically all the lecturers is that there are no window blinds or curtains. One lecturer commented that the exposed windows made her feel like a fish in a tank! Ahmad Zainuddin, who has been with UiTM Sarawak for a year, declares that a computer table would have been useful. He also laments the lack of internet service in the block, echoing the sentiment of practically all the rest.
