Abstract

The development and implementation of the MOOCs for Ayat dan Hadis Ahkam and Halal Certification Standard at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) provide innovative tools for enhancing education in Islamic Studies and the Halal industry. These MOOCs offer flexible, accessible, and engaging learning experiences, tailored to the needs of students and individuals interested in mastering these fields. The Ayat dan Hadis Ahkam MOOC, designed for the Master of Muamalat program, covers essential Quranic and Hadith rulings, promoting deep engagement and understanding among learners. Meanwhile, the Halal Certification Standard MOOC equips Bachelor in Halal Industry Management students with comprehensive knowledge of Halal certification, vital for their future careers. By integrating interactive content, self-paced learning, and virtual-based methods, these award-winning MOOCs align with the goals of Industrial Revolution 5.0 and enhance learning retention, accessibility, and collaboration. Combining these two MOOCs offers a synergistic approach, merging Islamic teachings with practical Halal industry knowledge. This strategy supports the government's aim to strengthen the Halal industry and empowers future Halal professionals in Malaysia by equipping them with critical insights into Islamic and industry standards, thus fostering well- rounded, competent graduates.
