CTU easy access center

The era of globalization today witnesses the evolution of the education system in line with current trends, presenting significant challenges to the present generation. The proliferation of technology has led to a shift towards digital information storage, unlike in the past when education relied more on physical information searches in libraries and lecture halls. This reliance on digital information became evident during the Covid-19 pandemic, which struck at the end of 2019 and disrupted the country's education system. This situation forced the delivery and reception of knowledge to be conducted virtually. Without proper planning, the process of information dissemination would become difficult due to constraints on face-to-face interactions for imparting knowledge to students. In response, an interactive platform, specifically a website, was developed to facilitate students enrolled in CTU courses in accessing information related to their subjects. The CTU courses fall under the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS) and are mandatory to be taken and passed at UiTM. Overall, there are approximately 13 CTU course codes offered to students at the Pre-Diploma, Diploma, and Bachelor’s Degree levels. Through this platform, all information related to these courses can be accessed easily and quickly, without the need for face- to-face interaction, saving time for both students and lecturers. This platform also offers income generation opportunities through the sale of books for subjects that provide manuals, promoted within the platform. Feedback from students has shown that this platform is an effective method, offering all necessary information without concerns of missing out on learning.
