Abstract

This study examines sleep quality and stress levels along with their relationship among ninety two student athletes aged eighteen to twenty five at Universiti Teknologi MARA Seremban Three. The researchers used an online cross sectional survey incorporating the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and the Perceived Stress Scale to gather data on how academic and physical demands impact these individuals. Because the collected data did not follow a normal distribution Spearman rank correlation was applied alongside descriptive statistics to evaluate the connection between sleep and stress. The overall goal was to address the limited research in Malaysia on how stress and sleep quality interact within a university athletic population.
