This study evaluated the relationship between peer social support and physical activity levels among four hundred six Malaysian youth aged eighteen to twenty-four using a quantitative cross-sectional correlational design. Addressing high rates of physical inactivity among young people, who increasingly rely on peer influence rather than parental guidance, participants completed an online questionnaire featuring the Malay versions of the Social Support Scale for Exercise and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire Short Form obtained via snowball sampling. Data analysis conducted with Jamovi software revealed a mean peer social support score of forty-one point forty with a standard deviation of thirteen point twenty, indicating that young adults experience moderate peer support that varies across different social contexts and developmental stages.
