Above the Sea – Shanghai

Dr. Lau and Hwa Tee Yong know what it is like to have the sea beneath their wings. The dynamic duo were in Shanghai and Hangzhou, China in September to jointly present their paper entitled Meta Cognitive Aspects of Problem Solving. Asked to comment on his experience above the sea (Shanghai literally means above the sea in Chinese) Dr. Lau observed, "Unfortunately, I feel I did not learn much from the conference. The standard was way below my expectation. Most of the presenters were from Mainland China with not much presentation skills."
