Around 12:00 p.m., all delegates are required to check-out of the hotel for their last visit to Grand Bazaar. The bazaar is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, spanning an area of about 54,600 square meters (590,000 square feet) and containing over 4,000 shops. It is located in Istanbul, Turkey, and has a rich history that dates back several centuries. The Grand Bazaar was originally constructed in the 15th century, during the Ottoman Empire. Over the years, it has grown and expanded, becoming a center of trade and commerce. The bazaar has undergone several renovations and additions, resulting in its current labyrinthine structure with numerous interconnected passages, courtyards, and alleys. They sell a variety of goods, including jewellery, textiles, carpets, spices, ceramics, leather goods, and traditional Turkish crafts.
