Abstract

Performance and injury prevention are key priorities in football, leading many athletes to apply kinesiology tape for elastic dynamic support or rigid tape for joint stabilization. To clarify which taping method better suits athletic demands, this study evaluated fifteen male amateur football players aged twenty to twenty seven using a crossover repeated measures design. Participants completed agility and lateral jump tests under both kinesiology and rigid taping conditions with a rest period between sessions, allowing researchers to run statistical comparisons to determine the acute effects of each tape type on physical performance.
