Motivation serves as a fundamental psychological component influencing athletic drive, emotional control, and general performance, particularly in precision sports like archery where self-regulation and focus are crucial. Built on self-determination theory, this quantitative cross-sectional study examined how student athletes competing at SUKIPT twenty twenty four perceived spectator support and how these perceptions related to their overall motivation. Using data from one hundred twenty-four university archers who completed standardized questionnaires measuring sport motivation and received social support, the researchers used statistical correlations to clarify whether fan attendance is perceived as encouraging recognition or evaluative pressure.
