Abstract

This study investigates the acute effects of ballistic versus static stretching on vertical jump height and thirty-meter sprint speed among twenty-eight male university football players from UiTM Negeri Sembilan in Malaysia. Using a randomized pretest posttest design, participants underwent standardized warm up protocols to determine how different stretching techniques influence explosive power and linear speed, addressing a key research gap in sports performance conditioning.
