Agility and flexibility are essential physical attributes for university athletes participating in sports that require rapid direction changes and a complete range of motion. This six week comparative study evaluated the impact of massage gun percussive therapy against hold relax proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation stretching on forty two athletes randomly divided into two equal groups. Participants completed three weekly sessions of their assigned treatment targeting major lower body muscle groups, with performance evaluated using the agility t test and the sit and reach test before and after the intervention. By analyzing pre and post intervention measurements, the research sought to clarify whether percussive massage tools offer comparable or superior athletic performance benefits compared to traditional neuromuscular stretching methods.
