Abstract

Obesity is a chronic metabolic disease frequently complicated by type 2 diabetes mellitus and cardiometabolic comorbidities. Tirzepatide, a dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, has demonstrated substantial weight-loss efficacy in clinical trials. However, real-world data describing early treatment response remain limited.
