Impact of body weight on joint pain and functional limitation: insights for holistic care in primary care

Obesity is recognized nationally as a chronic, relapsing neurobehavioral disease. In Malaysia, the rising prevalence of obesity necessitates urgent primary care intervention to mitigate long term complications. This study aimed to examine the association between body weight status and joint pain severity among patients at Poliklinik Amalmedik, emphasizing the need for integrated, holistic management strategies within the community setting.
