This specialized technical training program on Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), organized by project members from the School of Electrical Engineering (PKE) at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Held from July 17 to 18, 2024, at the Dream Factory Laboratory, PKE, the hands-on initiative brought together ten technical staff members from Daikin Electronic Devices Malaysia Sdn Bhd (DEDM), five PKE lecturers, and one engineering student. The comprehensive curriculum delivered both theoretical foundation and practical execution, covering key modules on AMR hardware and sensor architectures, Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) methodologies, and automatic navigation control systems. By bridging academic expertise with industrial application, this workshop demonstrates a successful university-industry collaboration model designed to upskill technical personnel and foster technology transfer in advanced industrial automation.
