The curriculum review undertaken by the Academy of Language Studies (Akademi Pengajian Bahasa - APB) at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) for its homegrown degree programmes, namely the Bachelor of Applied Language Studies (Hons.) English for Professional Communication (LG240) and Bachelor of Applied Language Studies (Hons.) English for Intercultural Communication (LG243). The initiative focused on systematically updating and realigning course structures, learning outcomes, and pedagogical approaches to reflect evolving industry needs, technological advancements, and global communication trends. By incorporating actionable recommendations from academic experts, industry stakeholders, and alumni, the review enhanced course relevancy, integrated contemporary digital tools, and strengthened graduate marketability.
