Kabuloh Agriculture Research Station is an integrated agriculture station of Northern Sarawak which is originally known as Luak Station. It was started in 11964 as an oil palm experimental station and has undergone many changes in its management, functions and land use after 38 years of its existence. The scope of research has been expanded from being a mere oil palm experimental station to conduct a multi crop field research station which covers fruit trees, cocoa, coconut and food crops. Since 1990, the station has further transformed from being purely an experimental station for upland crop research station into fully integrated agriculture station. There are also other sections in the station such as fruit section, herbs section, commodity section, mixed fruit section, field crop section, inland fisheries section and PPKS-SAVTI (Sarawak Agriculture Vocational Training Institute). SAVTI is a school offering specially designed courses to meet the needs of the oil palm industry.
