Abstract

During the 5th semester of the programme Diploma in Computer Science (CDCS110) in UiTM, the students are required to complete the course CSC339 (Practical Training) to ensure that every one of them has a hands-on experience in the workplace environment to boost their critical thinking skills as a future programmer. The practical training session in this particular report took place starting from 8th September 2025 to 20th February 2026. During the practical training, the students are assigned to a supervisor and a co-supervisor from the same faculty to help supervise and guide them the whole time the training is ongoing. In this report, I will describe each activities that I have done during my practical training at Khaleef Net Sdn. Bhd. Throughout the practical training session, I was constantly exposed to new knowledge that helps me pursue my interest deeper in the field of information technology and software development. Hence, the practical training provided me with valuable opportunities to apply all theoretical knowledge that I have studied during the previous semesters. Furthermore, the activities carried out throughout the training covered various aspects of system development such as system analysis, database management, web application development, and maintenance. As such, I was able to enhance my technical skills as well as improve my problem solving skill and develop professional work ethics such as teamwork, time management, and communication skills. This report is organized to help present the more detailed description of each activity and tasks done throughout the practical training hightlighting the knowledge and skills gained, challenges that are found and the final solution. Other than that, this report provides an overview of the organization, the scope of each tasks done, and the overall learning experience gained during the task’s completion.
