The structural scope, academic objectives, and publication pathways of The 2nd Virtual Symposium on Sciences 2021 (VSoS 2021), hosted virtually by the School of Chemistry and Environment at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Negeri Sembilan Branch, Kuala Pilah Campus, from September 28 to 30, 2021. Centered on the theme *“Innovation Challenges in Sciences,”* the symposium provided an accessible global platform for students, researchers, and academicians to present findings, exchange technical insights, and foster scientific networking across five core tracks: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Textile Technology, and Food Technology. Designed to accommodate both empirical research and comprehensive review papers, the event offered flexible participation options while supporting scholarly output through an e-Book abstract compilation and potential full-paper publication in the MyCite-indexed *Journal of Academia* (JoA), thereby enhancing academic KPI fulfillment and cross-disciplinary collaboration within a digital environment.
