Seminar and workshop on scientific writing & publication 2021

The structural framework, key thematic objectives, and scholarly proceedings of the Seminar and Workshop on Scientific Writing & Publication 2021, jointly organized by the Malaysian Nuclear Agency, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP). Held virtually from June 29 to July 1, 2021, under the overarching theme *“Science and Technology for Mutual Prosperity in the New Norm,”* the event provided a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, academicians, students, and industry practitioners to enhance their scholarly dissemination capabilities and exchange technological insights. The program featured prominent keynote presentations addressing critical dimensions of academic publishing, including the cultivation of research output in science and technology by Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Nazip bin Suratman, the efficacy and role of the Malay language in scientific writing by Datuk Abang Sallehuddin bin Abg Shokeran, and the strategic influence of media in science communication by Dr. Ahmad Firdaus bin Mohd Haris. Through live digital streaming and interactive workshop sessions, the initiative effectively promoted rigorous scientific literacy, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the continuous professional development of scholars in response to evolving global challenges.
