Virtual Pharm-IIDEx 2021, organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) from July 1 to August 10, 2021, under the theme “Inspiring Innovation and Discovery.” Designed as a virtual platform for research dissemination and technological exchange, the event invited innovations across health and well-being disciplines, including pharmacy, health sciences, medicine, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, agrotechnology, biotechnology, and broader STEM fields. Notably, the initiative incorporated a Junior Inventor Category to engage primary and secondary school students, thereby supporting national Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education goals. Operating on a structured schedule spanning registration, abstract and video submission, rigorous judging, and result announcements, the exhibition fostered interdisciplinary collaboration, early-stage research exposure, and commercial viability for health-related inventions across academic and school-level participants.
