The academic structure and objectives of The 2nd Virtual Symposium on Sciences 2021 (VSoS 2021), organized by the School of Chemistry and Environment, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Negeri Sembilan Branch, Kuala Pilah Campus. Centered on the theme *“Innovation Challenges in Sciences,”* the symposium was held virtually from September 28 to 30, 2021, via Google Meet, providing an interdisciplinary platform to address contemporary scientific advancements across five key tracks: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Textile Technology, and Food Technology. To enhance scholarly visibility and knowledge dissemination, all accepted abstracts were compiled into an official eBook, with selected full-length research manuscripts published in the MyJurnal-indexed *Journal of Academia* (JoA). Overall, VSoS 2021 served as an important academic nexus, promoting collaborative research, technological innovation, and scientific dialogue within the broader higher education landscape.
