Call for papers (Scopus or other indexed publication opportunity): International General Studies Conference 2021 (IGesCon2021)

The structural, pedagogical, and publication frameworks of the International General Studies Conference 2021 (IGesCon2021), co-organized by the Faculty of Education, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and the General Studies Department, Politeknik Kota Kinabalu. Held virtually on September 7–8, 2021, the conference focused on the central theme of *Embracing Technology in Teaching and Learning in the New Norm*, providing a collaborative forum for educators, researchers, postgraduate students, and policymakers to evaluate digital transformations in contemporary education. By inviting original abstract proposals and empirical research, the conference aimed to address the critical pedagogical adaptations required during global educational shifts. Furthermore, selected high-quality contributions were slated for publication in indexed academic outlets, including the Scopus-indexed *Asian Journal of University Education*, thereby fostering scholarly dissemination, inter-institutional partnership, and evidence-based policy formulation in higher education.
