Abstract

Academic webinar by the Faculty of Pharmacy featuring Prof. Geoffrey A. Cordell, a renowned expert in Pharmacognosy. Held on 21 January 2021 via Webex, the program delivered a lecture entitled "Contemporary Pharmacognosy in Society – Now and for the Future", followed by an interactive question-and-answer session. The webinar explored key healthcare applications and addressed critical issues surrounding the research and analysis of bioactive natural products. Serving as a knowledge-exchange platform, the session provided academic staff, researchers, and students interested in herbal and traditional plant research with valuable insights and updates on the future trajectory and advancements in the field of pharmacognosy.
