Samarahan Plantations Sendirian Berhad is also known as Samarahan Estate is officially as a Private Limited Company on 15 January 1964. The company has established a lot of their history that develop themselves. The oil palm planting to effort their productive those make their own profit increase to Sarawak economy. Before they established the Samarahan Plantation Limited at the same location, the Samarahan Rubber estate also cultivates planting the rubber at the same place. This because in the year 1961 they have to export their rubber planting to Kuching has increase in the amount $83.3 million. The rubber planting is majority cultivated by Mr. Shosuke (Japanese) since before the inhabiting Japanese on the year 1910. However, due to the decreases of the rubber prices, bring into being Samarahan Rubber estate cannot to survive and eventually sold to the private owner of the Company Samarahan Plantation Sdn. Bhd. that still exist now. Consequently, the establishment of the company Samarahan Plantation is one of the most important economic assets to economic development in Kuching.
