Abstract

Breastfeeding has been shown to assist in lowering postnatal blood sugar; hence breastfeeding is critical for women who have gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). This study compares breastfeeding knowledge, attitude, and practices between women with non GDM (NGDM) and GDM and its association with GDM status.
