Abstract

Global agriculture and food industries generate 1.3 billion tonnes of waste annually, historically managed through environmentally harmful methods like landfills and incineration, but the paradigm is shifting toward waste valorisation to convert organic residues into high-value products and drive a circular bioeconomy.
