Books to bytes: transforming students into digital creators.

Abstract
The transition from traditional textbooks to digital platforms has transformed education, requiring students to evolve from passive information consumers into active creators, innovators, and digital entrepreneurs (Benchekroun et al., 2024). While theoretical foundations remain essential, integrating practical competencies like content creation, social media marketing, and personal branding into structured learning is critical to meeting real-world industry demands (Sharma, 2025). Achieving this effective digital engagement requires bridging creative output with strategic, research-backed insights into audience behavior and engagement patterns (Tafesse, 2023).
