Traditional university assignments face significant limitations because they prioritize grading over real-world value creation, which stifles student creativity, leaves valuable ideas unutilized after submission, and fails to offer market exposure (Agrawal, 2025; Winfield, 2023; Arend & Carlson, 2023). Transforming these academic tasks into income-generating opportunities bridges the gap between classroom learning and practical entrepreneurship, enhancing employability and financial independence. Redesigning coursework around models like Earn-to-Learn and experiential learning leverages university, industry, and government collaborations to give students paid, real-world problem-solving experience beyond simple academic evaluation (Herbert, 2018; De Souza-Daw et al., 2022).
