Report on industrial training at Borneo Samudera Sdn Bhd Pitas Estate

I have to undergo industrial training for 3 months starting 10 june 2013 to September 13, 2013. during my industrial training in Pitas Estate. I have learned about the introduction of a functional group and each employee organization in the management of their companies comprising the heads of the Estate manager, assistant manager, estate management chief, officer, chief clerk of the office management , clerk of the employee passport management, store management officer, store clerk and assistant clerk of the office. Pitas estate has an area 1464.67 ha. Types of crops planted palm is dura x tenera Pisifera = (avros). In addition, im also learned managing of the operation in the field in terms of weed control in oil palm plantations, to identify the types of weeds that are in the farm, which is suitable for using poison weed control, cost estimation techniques overall nature of work performed by employees in the field. In addition to the management office of the foreign workers 'passports, plantop system to speed up the calculation of the costs involved, namely the harvesting of farm products, items for the farm as well as the calculation of workers' wages by types of estate work-related check roll and maintenance in the field.
