Abstract
This research investigated the factors influencing home ownership among residents in Malaysia by analyzing data from nearly three hundred respondents using a binary logistic model. The findings indicated that financial and personal attributes such as income age education level and marital status significantly impacted the likelihood of owning a home whereas family size and living status did not. Furthermore, the statistical model demonstrated strong reliability and a high predictive accuracy of over eighty percent which can help policymakers design better housing initiatives for the future.
