The adding presence of antibiotic remainders, particularly tetracycline (TC), in water environment poses significant environmental and public health threat. Hence, this study aimed to explores the conflation, characterization, and photocatalytic performance of a tungsten disulfide/graphene oxide (WS₂/GO) nanocomposite for the degradation of TC under light-emitting diode (LED) irradiation due to a good visible-light photocatalytic properties by WS2 and excellent in electron transport ability by GO. GO was synthesized using a modified hummers’ method, while WS₂ was set via a hydrothermal approach with ratio of 1%, 5%, and 15% of WS2, these composites were comprehensively characterized through Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), UV-Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis), and Photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy, to interpret the physicochemical properties of the composites.
