Writing with clarity and confidence: UiTM Mukah hosts LCC112 writing workshop

The workshop aimed to enhance students’ understanding of expository essay writing by focusing on the organisation of ideas and the development of clear and convincing arguments. The invited speaker, Bolkhan bin Median, shared his knowledge and experience in academic writing throughout the session. As an experienced teacher of the Malaysia University English Test (MUET), he provided valuable insights into effective writing techniques and academic communication. During the workshop, students were introduced to the fundamental structure of an expository essay, including the arrangement of introductions, body paragraphs and conclusions. Particular emphasis was placed on coherence and parallelism, which are essential elements in producing well-organised and meaningful academic writing.
