Report on industrial training at IOI Corporation (Syarimo 4 Estate) Kota Kinabatangan

As a students in our program need to complete 6 semesters in 3 years and pass all the courses, subjects and examinations in this program during that time in order to obtain the diploma certificate in Planting Industry Management. One of the courses in this program that is compulsory to every student in part six is Industrial Training which is need to complete at the end of semester (semester 6) at the agency that have been chosen by the students. Diploma in Planting Industry Management or shortly known as DPIM was introduced in UiTM Sabah Branch. The training last long about 14 weeks and within that period, students must study and gather much information about how the agencies manage their field to the production of yield. This industrial training is held in order to give an early exposure to the student about the real situation in planting industry management field when they work after they graduated. It also helps student to prepare on how to face and solve the problems and challenges in this field. At the same time, it is hoped that all the experiences that obtained by every students will be used later and be practiced after graduate.
