UiTM Perak strengthens green mobility agenda through electric vehicle infrastructure planning meeting

Seri Iskandar, 24 June 2026 – Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Perak continues to advance its Green Campus agenda by convening the Electric Vehicle (EV) Committee Meeting to discuss the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and the future adoption of sustainable mobility solutions across the campus. Organised by the Green Campus Committee in collaboration with the Facilities Management Division, the meeting focused on strategic planning to support the university's transition towards low-carbon transportation while enhancing the campus's environmental sustainability. Among the key agenda items were the proposed locations for installing EV charging stations, the implementation model, and potential financing mechanisms for the project. Discussions were guided by the UiTM Guidelines on the Installation of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure and the Use of EV Chargers (Circular No. 02 of 2026), ensuring that future developments align with the university's sustainability policies and operational requirements.
