Agro Siswa Lestari harvests organic hydroponic produce to advance sustainable development goals at UiTM Perak

Seri Iskandar, January 2026 – UiTM Cawangan Perak continues to strengthen its Green Campus agenda through a student-led hydroponic farming project managed by Agro Siswa Lestari under the Hydropreneur Committee, led by Dr. Wan Nor Anira. The initiative enables students to cultivate pesticidefree organic vegetables using sustainable hydroponic farming techniques while gaining practical experience in sustainable agriculture, project management, and agripreneurship. Freshly harvested vegetables, including kangkung and sawi, were sold during monthly sales on 14 November 2025 and 16 January 2026, promoting healthy food choices and supporting local food production.
